Galvan has been selected to provide hot dip galvanizing rust prevention to steel head gates and spillway gates that were custom designed to replace the gates in an existing hydroelectric dam.
The new gate operating system employs powerful screw jacks with variable speed drives and a framework of supporting steel. Galvan is protecting the new supporting steel, as well.
